Pastor Dr. Cheryl E. Powell is a woman of faith and prayer. A native of Pahokee, Florida and
daughter of well-known Florida revivalists and pastors, the late Overseer Willie and the late
Delores B. Powell, under whose spiritual tutelage she developed a rich faith in Christ. She had a
very humble ministry beginning, but remained consistent in her calling amidst early opposition.
Graced with a keen prophetic anointing.

 

Dr. Cheryl passionately delivers the Word of God with conviction and clarity for life application. Her desire is to see the Body of Christ come into spiritual maturity and boldly demonstrate a kingdom-minded life in the earth. No stranger to ministry, she birthed Kingdom Builders Worship Center (KBWC) in 2008,
located in Pompano Beach, Florida. A non-denominational ministry, KBWC’s main focus is to
build people; in which the Motto is "We Learn, We Live, and We Grow."

Pastor Cheryl is known for her strategic approach to ministry. With years of experience, she has
fostered biblical principles as well as developed prudent methodologies for Church
Administration, Organization, and Growth. As a result of her courage and achievements
displayed in ministry, she has been graced with opportunities to empower and encourage rising
leaders, her colleagues and dignitaries.

Pastor Cheryl studied at Galilee Ministries Chaplaincy & Pastoral University in Fort Lauderdale,
FL. Currently she holds a credential as a National recognized Chaplain, and she has earned her
Master’s in Divinity and Doctorate in Christian Education.
